May 4, 2013 would have been our sixth annual Randy Bauer Memorial 5k. Unfortunately, due to decreasing sponsorship, volunteers, and participation it is with deep regret that we inform you of the dissolution of the Randy Bauer Memorial Fund and the discontinuation of the Randy Bauer Memorial 5k. It was a difficult decision and was not made lightly.
Through this fund we have been able to contribute to several Boundary Waters experiences, science related field trips; including Valley Fair, the Wolf Center, and the Raptor Center. We have also made significant donations to The American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. It is our hope that these funds have had a positive impact on student’s lives and that we have helped in the fight to battle cancer.
Again, thank you for all the support you have given to make the past Randy Bauer Memorial 5k's such a wonderful success.
